Re: Info on found 109 F2 wreck and pilot.

Thanks for sharing. I too noticed Yellow, White, and what seems to be red or bright orange. I am still taking detailed pictures of the box of pieces I have. One is a rather large piece that really shows the camo and brush strokes used.

So we have a picture of Georg Mayr on the way. A gentleman was nice enough to send me a copy via mail. I will scan and upload as soon as I receive it.

The picture finally showed up. It took months in the mail system to get here. I will scan and up load shortly.

Hi
SixFour619
I have just seen your last reply in regard to Geor Mayrs photo thats great news, would it be at all possible to scan a photo to the forum? at your earliest convenience as the relic board i have put together just needs a photo of Geor Mayr himself.
Many thanks.

Re: Info on found 109 F2 wreck and pilot.

Hello! I am new to this forum. I decided to make a profile because I am also looking for information about this particular Bf 109 F-2. I have a box filled with relics from this particular crash. I have the parachute activation handle Mayr would have worn, along with other very interesting pieces. I can post photos of them later if you would like to see them.

Best regards- Jarret
