Alex,
I believe if he had meant to refer to an aircraft he would have said "ship 61" rather than "crew 61". In any case I will have to wait until I pull what is available at NARA II, and merge with what I have from Maxwell to see if the mission reports also contain crew lists. That will be part of MAW6 (as currently planned, strategic operations to the end of Aug 1944 -- note "as currently planned" -- writing books can have the same result as military plans and contact with the enemy.

One slot cleared in my PM box. Someday I will figure out what I want to do with the saved messages.
