Question A French pilot called De Pins

Dear All,
Is the Sub-Lieutenant De Pins mentioned here: https://www.passionair1940.fr/Armee%...e-France-D.htm the same person as Captain Gerard De Pins https://www.bibert.fr/Joseph_Bibert_...Victoires.htm?
Do you happen to have any further information about him? (For example, his date of birth, and anything else about his flying career apart from shooting down the Henschel HE 126 mentioned on one of the websites.)
Thank you very much in advance.

Re: A French pilot called De Pins

Hi,

Yes it is the same ; was in North Africa in 39/40 and when GC I/10 disbanded on 11 june 1940 posted in France to GC I/1. Was on Bloch 152 n°387 when he claimed the Hs 126 on 20 june then will become commandant of GC 1/4 from 5/12/1944 to 14/04/1946.

Re: A French pilot called De Pins

Dear Bertrand,
Thank you very, very much for your answer. I only have one more question, if I may. I have found two different dates of birth (March 9, 1915 http://www.servicehistorique.sga.def...RALE_TOME6.pdf and March 19, 1915 https://gw.geneanet.org/pierfit?lang...&oc=0&p=gerard) and three different dates of death (on these two sites and one on this site https://www.bibert.fr/Joseph_Bibert_.../Victoires.htm). Do you happen to know which of these dates are true?
Best regards,
Teresa
