Bob Gibbes - Another Ace gone

Bob Gibbes, an ace and a commander of 3 RAAF in the Desert and later a Wing commander in the Pacific, died on 11 April 2007 in Sydney aged 91. Source Obituary in the "Melbourne Age" newspaper.

I had the honour to meet him on several occassions - he was a very intersting man to talk to about his exploits.
