Gerhard Rasch 6./KG 3
I have a transcript of an interview with this pilot dated 1963 and there are a few things I would like to confirm, having checked with Matti:
- 21 May 1942 he claimed a Rata - Date not stated he claimed a Su-2 near Leningrad - Shot down 5 times June/July 1942 - 2 May 1943 II./KG 3 lost 27 Ju 88s (!) attacking Poldi/Rostov - Claimed biplane June 1943 - Ogefr Hans Wandner (BS) from his crew was credited with 3 victories, Gefr Hein Maque one - Injured in a crash 6 Jun 43 after being hit by ground fire on landing.
