Re: Forthcoming book - Rogozarski IK-3

Will have to get this book.

Any chance the next book will be on the Rogozarski IK-2?
Have been looking for a photo on how the IK-2's canopy works so I can start a model I have .

Rick,

Thank you for your interest. I am not excluding that IK-2 book may come in the future, whether it is me or someone else as the author. IK-2 has an interesting canopy mechanism. I presume you have the Azur model or?

Re: Forthcoming book - Rogozarski IK-3

You are welcome. I don't have any plans to write an IK-2 book as it is not my primary focus, I have other projects of more interest for the next several years. It will most likely be someone else who beats me to it, who knows we will wait and see.

The Azur kit is nice, I have built one myself with closed canopy. When you get to the building stage do send me a message and we can discuss the canopy positioning on your model. Good luck.

Of possible interest for an IK-2 reference. English section included too.

Thank you. There is a good article in Avions about the type. Again, someone else will have to work on the IK-2 book, i'm focusing on other projects!

Re: Forthcoming book - Rogozarski IK-3

IK-3 book will be available for shipment after July 4! Just posted on Kagero's website. I asked them to modify the book description as it does not mention IK-3, hope they will do that soon.
