Serial number of 70 Squadron Wellington lost on 29-30 Jan. 1943 in Med.?
Dear all,
Who can help me with the serial number of a 70 Squadron Wellington that was lost during the 29-30 January 1943 raids by 17 Wellingtons and Halifaxes on Catania and Messina? Cheers and thanks for any help, Theo |

Hi Theo
70 Sqn Wellington Ic DV484 ‘Q’ left for Catania and shot down; Flt Lt B.H.McMichael five KiA. There were at least 2 Flak claims that night as well as Patuschka's. Cheers Russell |
