Flieger Rudolf Ringpfeil, 29.08.1926-26.06.1944.

This guy was lost near Theville, is there any further info? also, what was the minimum age for Pilot/Aircrew training at that time?
Joe

I know from young men born 1927 (at this case one of my uncels) who trained at Wirelessoperator School, but never saw an airplane! All this young men served latter with Fallschirmjäger or Luftwaffen-Festungseinheiten as normal infantry. By the end of 1944 the youngest Flugzeugführer in active service where born at 1925.

Thanks, could young Rudolf have possibly lied about his age?
