Bf-109 Data Plate Specifics

Was hoping you guys could help me identify any details on these two data plates:

A)https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/6foAA...j4/s-l1600.jpg

B)https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/nxwAA...Au/s-l1600.jpg

Limited information I have suggests that perhaps Data Plate A is an Engine component, and plate B is from a Wing.

Is this correct? Any thoughts?

Thanks! Craig

Re: Bf-109 Data Plate Specifics

Is it possible to determine any other details from these plates - like aircraft model, block group, year, etc?

Also -

Is there a good reference for denoting part codes for 109s and 190s?

Thanks so much!
Craig

Re: Bf-109 Data Plate Specifics

hi,
a slight drift, I vsited the BHHH at Biggin Hill in June 2016, and they have a BF109E-9 on re-build, it was flown by Marseille, and on 2/9/40 it was damaged and he had to crash land at Calais-Marck, classed as 50% damaged. Anyway I photoed its c/n plate (sorry I've no scanner) but it has Arado Flugzeuwerke, G.m.b.H Werk Warnemunde Lizenzbau Bayer Flugzeuwerke A.G Augsburg. then 4 boxes, with BF109E-4, 3579, 1939, then 2 inspection stamps.
regards,
dave...
