272 Squadron losses - 02 August 1943

Good morning to all!
I am seeking information about 272 Squadron losses on 02nd August 1943, most particularly information about F/L Charles Ronald Trery (Can J./13065 ) who was KIA this day.
Who was his regular Observer/Navigator?
Which aircraft they were flying and what was the mission?
Any other 272 Squadron loss ( aircraft/crew )?
Any photograph available of this particular airman?
Thanks in advance.

Adriano,

Thru Geoff's CWGC search engine there's also the loss of F/Sgt Edward Howe (553413) of 272 Squadron on 2 Aug 1943. He's commemorated at the Malta Memorial.

Regards,

Leendert

ROSS,

Thank you for the information of the attack and local of crash.
I've at first read that F/L Crery could be a Brazilian born...however, I've seen on CGWC and from your information that he must be an Argentinian born pilot. Will check this out. Do you happen to know if this Beau was the only 272 Squadron loss of the day?
Thank you again

C.R.Trery was indeed Argentinian,he's on R Meunier's list of Argentine airmen lost in WWII.
