Finnish Dornier Do17Z, WkNr.2608
Hello,
In the book 'Finnish Bomber Colours' by Karl Stenman/Karolina Holda (MMP Books) I read that Do17Z, WkNr. 2608, delivered to Finland on 06 Jan.42 (Finnish reg. DN-52) flew before for the Luftwaffe as nightfighter equipped with a 20mm MG FF in its glasnose. So I assume, this Do17Z was not converted to a Do 17 Z-7/Z-10 Kauz I/II (ref. here to Mikael Olrog's excellent book 'Dornier Do 215', Crecy Publ., p.185) but delivered to Finland instead !? Is it possible, that this WkNr. is the R4+ZK on the att. photo? Who has more about this Wk.Nr. in former Luftwaffe service? Thank you. (The Bomber Colours book mentions this WkNr. was struck by the Fins on 01 Oct.1952...!)
