Looking for a Beaufighter claim on the Ju 88 3Z+HL of 3./KG 6 on August 20th 1942 near Beachy Head.

P/O G. Pepper (Pilot)
P/O Toone (Nav)
Took off at 20:44hs. Landing at 23:59hs. They claimed a "He 177"...serveral burts...starboard engine caught fire. Combat took place 35 miles SE of Beachy Head, at 23:27hs.
Probably T7216 (not sure about the first letter...ORB only register 7216 as the serial number).

Fw Fritz Bernhard, Fw Heinz Schubert, Fw Eberhard Holm, Uffz Alfred Steiger. Unit was on the cusp of changing from KG 77 to KG 6 hence 3Z

George Pepper was not RCAF, he was a Canadian serving in the RAF.

Beaufighter V8380 was a Mk.IF, not a IIF as I stated in the above link.

T7216 was a Tiger Moth! Beaufighter serial possibly X7816.
