Walter Matoni

Hi guys

Hauptmann Walter Matoni (34 victories, RK), Gruppenkommandeur of I./JG 2, was severely injured during a take-off accident on 5 or 6 December 1944. Would anyone here know what were the circumstances of this incident? Is there any loss list information regarding this event? Many thanks for your time.

Horrido!

Leo
