St-Lt I. Ya. Popovich 78 IAP VVS SF
Can anyone tell me the forenames of St-Lt Popovich who flew Hurricanes with the Northern Fleet please?

major Popovich Ivan Yakovlevich Date of birth: 22.09.1913 Date of entry on duty: 19.09.1935 End of service date: 25.11.1955 Units: - 118 AP VVS SF - participant of the Finnish War 30.11.1939-12.03.1940 - aviation technician; - 72 SAP on 22.06.1941 - Mechanic of plane; - 2 IAE 2 Gw.SAP (Military technician of the 2nd rank - Mechanic of air flight on 04.1942); - 11 UAE of VVS SF - on 1943 (retrained as a fighter-recon. pilot); - 78 IAP of VVS SF - 03.1943 - 09.1943 (Hurricane ?); - 3 AE 118 RAP of VVS SF (Starshiy Leytenant - Acting Commander of air flight on 10-11.1943) - Kittyhawk and Airacobra - 15 combat missions in unit (total 49 day combat missions - 84h 05m + 1 night combat mission); - 3 AE 118 RAP of VVS SF (Starshiy Leytenant - Deputy Commander AE on 05.1944) + 30 combat missions - with 01.04.1944 on Spitfire; - 18(19).06.1944 - Air combat injury (burns to the face and hands, dislocation of the right leg in the knee joint). At 06.10 over Kirkenes, a reconnaissance Spitfire 118 mrap (pilot - st. l-t Popovich) at an altitude of 7500 m was suddenly attacked by a pair of Me-109 hunters. On 18 June 1944 Fhj.Ofw. Walter Schuck of 9./JG 5 claimed a PR Spitfire at 0510 hrs NW Murmansk at 7.500 m, in all probability Popovich's aircraft.
