Soviet OOB Crimea 1944

Hi,

I'm searching for a detailed (number of aircraft per single model) OOB of soviet air force during spring 1944 in Crimea.
Soviet VVS digest provides detailed information but unfortunately I don't read russian.
Very appreciated if someone can give the data
regards
alessandro

Re: Soviet OOB Crimea 1944

IIRC, ther eis no type-fine OOB for 1944 in the VVS digest.

So you have do some more then just translation. A small help: The crimean campaign was (concerning air support) executed by 4.VA, 8.VA and VVS-ChF.

Alessandro
I have been working on Soviet Air Force orbats for some time. I have a long way to go but this is what I have:

4 Air Army
229, 329 IAD:42 GIAP; 66, 88, 249, 790, 805, 926 IAP
132 BAD : 63, 277 453 BAP
214 ShAD: 502, 618, 622, 685 (??), 805 ShAP
230 ShAD:7 & 43 GShAP, 103,210, 766 ShAP
863, 979 IAP
366 ORAP
55 ORAE
Black Sea Fleet
4 IAD VMF: 11 GIAP VMF, 6, 25, 32 IAP VMF
1 MTAD VMF: 5 GMTAP VMF, 36 MTAP VMF
13 GBAP VMF, 40 BAP VMF
11 ShAD VMF: 8 GShAP VMF, 47 ShAP VMF
6 GIAP VMF
23 ShAP VMF
I don't pretend this is definitive but I am sure other members will correct the numerous errors.

Re: Soviet OOB Crimea 1944

Sorry, only now I understand fully... as you are "only" interested in a typefine OOB, I suggest to have a look at my website. There you can find a MS-Excel-table which contains one OOB for the Crimea-operation, ca. April 1944.

The data is based on some "research" I did with support from russian friends and is verified against various sources from the internet and literature. The types are subdivided in the planes available in "IL-2"-game.
