Probably from: JG 300 lub 301

river Oder front
here is moust about this fight with FW190:

Orginal Polish version:

"...W dniu 14 kwietnia 1945 r., dla wzięcia udziału w operacji berlińskiej, 1 plm "Warszawa" przebazował się z lotniska Mirosławiec na lotnisko Baranówka, położone 30 km. od Kostrzynia. Sytuacja lotnicza w bitwie o Berlin była bardziej skomplikowana jak w poprzednich operacjach. Chociaż, lotnictwo radzieckie i polskie panowało w powietrzu, to pierwsze dni operacji obfitowały w liczne zacięte walki powietrzne. Hitlerowcy rzucili do walki wszystkie jednostki lotnicze. O natężeniu walk powietrznych świadczyć może fakt, że tylko w okresie od 6 do 20 kwietnia lotnicy radzieccy i polscy stoczyli 841 walk powietrznych.
W okresie operacji berlińskiej pułk wykonywał trzy podstawowe zadania:
  • osłona ugrupowań i przepraw przez Odrę oddziałów 1 Armii WP w rejonach: Starej Odry, Welfen, Flatow, Bornicke,Weklefanz, Orarienbug;
  • ubezpieczenie działania 3 Pułku Lotnictwa Szturmowego na cele położone w rejonach: Bad - Freienwalde, Ferbellin, Dechtow, Neu Ruppin, Rethenow.
  • prowadzenie rozpoznania wojsk nieprzyjaciela głównie na korzyść 1 Armii WP, przez cały okres trwania operacji, od rejonów wyjściowych aż do rzeki Łaby.
Realizację tych zadań pułk rozpoczął 16 kwietnia wykonaniem 12 lotów. W drugim dniu wykonano 10 lotów , w trzecim 88, w czwartym 65 i piątym 59 lotów bojowych. Podczas osłony przepraw 10 i 21 kwietnia stoczono 12 walk powietrznych i atakowano wiele celów naziemnych przeciwnika. Przed rozpoczęciem działań bezpośrednio pod Berlinem, pułk przebazował się na lotnisko Lauenberg, położone 40 km na zachód od Odry. ..."'

So acc. to information from book (page: 366) - "Jaki startuja o świcie" - author Medard Konieczny (veteran) this photo was made on the "Flugplatz Finowfurt" as confirmation from ground Soviet unit to this pilot hit (so we can see Russian text on photo).
Fw190 was in position up side down so was hitted in the air (not destroyed on Earth by ground units).

(German pilot tried to sit down with aircraft on airfield and than was hitted.)

So who could be German pilot inside unlucky Fw190 ?

But It's a Fw190F-8 or F-9 so we must search inside SG units...

Re: Fw190 hitted by Polish pilot Bobrowski 19.04.1945

The aircraft from the photo was not shot down, it flipped over during take off or landing. Otherwise the damages to the airframe parts witch contacted the ground would have been much more serious. Some parts have been removed by the Germans before they left the base. This one is most probably an accident of a Fw 190F-8 from 4./SG 3, which was based at Finow from February until April 1945.

"... it flipped over during take off or landing. ..."

Here is full descripion of action as it was
Sorry but I have got only one page (Polish version) of memories one veteran regarding this story - place of photo: Finowfurt.
This photo was made by ground units (probably Russian units - photo was signed with russian text) as confirmation for pilot.
Fw190 was during procedure of landing on the airfield and than was hitted on the low level .

Picture made some days after action by infantry units:
http://www.polishairforce.pl/1plm/11.jpg

One of veterans this unit still alive in Russia.
