French Code locations.
Hi,
Can anyone help in identifying the locations of the following coded targets; M.4141 M.3539 M.3940 M.4845 M.6669 All were in France and 'attacked' during a large scale exercise undertaken by the AASF on January 12th 1940. TIA Steve

You need to go here www.echodelta.net If your references are from the system described on that site then I have checked the first three in your list and they all appear to be in an area to the NE of Rouen. You need to search on the "Nord de Guerre" Grid and you need to put a lower case 'v' in front of the uppercase 'M'. Steve |
