1-2 Jun 44: transferred from Romania to Celle/N Germany.
Jun – Aug 44: no information found for the Gruppe, but it is believed to have been inactive at Celle during the June-July period.
19 Aug 44: all or elements identified at Mainz-Finthen.
4 Sep 44: ordered disbanded this date by OKL.

This is all I have. Naturally, it could have left some of its aircraft behind with other transport units in Romania when it moved to Celle.

Hello all, only thing I could find is a Bf 108 belonging to Stab III./TG 2 which crashed on 1.07.1944 in Sihlea, but that is pretty far away from Sibiu and probably not the a/c type you were looking for. Info comes via Matti Salonen

I have Uffz. Franz Toldrian, a long time member of I./TG 2, as wounded near Sibiu on July 4th 1944. Not sure if he still belonged to TG 2 at that time. This Transport pilot transferred to JG 6 later and was wounded again in October 1944.

Absturz nach Luftkampf mit P-51. Bruch 100 %. Start um 09.33 Uhr. Uffz Toldrian mit Fallschirm abgesprungen.

Just for the sake of completing the data for that busy day, I have two Ju 52/3m's of 4./Minensuchst., shot down SE Baerza (?), Rumania.
