Hi John

Its Bf 109 E-4 16+ of 2./JG 1, the mount of Heinz Gerd Winnekers which crash landed on frozen river Hallidal nr Nesbyen Norway March 1942.

On both image is visible some kind of blister, positioned on bottom fuselage, what is this? Similar thing could be seen on Tropical versions.
