Luftwaffe im Focus #8 out now !!!!!

Hello,

I've received the edition 8 of German "Luftwaffe im Focus" magazin today.
It's a really great issue and the photos and profiles are printed in
top quality again. And the best is that the publisher announce Issue 9 for
this year! If I remember right they plan be a special edition dedicated to
the end of WW II.
Did anybody know something about the unknown emblem of Wekusta 1
in the actual edition?

Dear Nick,

Yes, it is terrible. Not a single new book in the last 24 hours...

Regards,
Richard

PS. Kidding aside, Ed hasn't found any 262 photos for auction on eBay for quite some time. Oh, there is the standard stock offered over and over, but nothing new. And, I'm afraid when something now surfaces, the price is completely out of sight.

Hopefully, the new Luftwaffe im Focus will have something new.

For those who haven't seen it, the September/October issue of Jet & Prop (heft 4/05) was also an "end of the war" special. Good articles on flights home by a Ju 52 crew and a Verbindungstaffel pilot in a Fi 156. Also short articles by Werner Molge of JG 26 and Hans-Ekkehard Bob of JV 44 about the last days. Another by the pilot of He 162 "Nervenklau" and one (which I haven't yet read) on the Ju 88 G that defected to Swizerland.

Dear Nick,

I've read this issue and also very interesting is the article about the last
operations of "Luftwaffen Kommando West" in South Germany. The story
of Hans-Ekkehard Bob is a part of his biography. I don't know the original
book but it may be interesting.
The photos of Me 262 and He 162 in this issue are the well known planes
of JG 1 in Leck, Northern Germany (He 162) and some 262 which were
found at the motorway from München to Salzburg, Austria.
Maybe in the next "Luftwaffe im Focus" issue we found some new photos
of German jets or maybe some of other units?
Before I forget, in Edition 3 was a great story about the Me 262 V555
and the last flight (8 May 1945).
