Re: Bf109G-3 List
Hi Denes,
The 50 or so build G-3 all have a 'Werkenr' between 16251 - 16300, all built by Mtt. Regensburg during Jan and Feb 1943. The G-3 was a specialy built high altitude fighter with a pressurized cabin and were delivered to 11./JG 2 and 11./JG 26, as well to I./JG 1 which became II.JG 11 a few days later. The 27xxx block were G-6 types built by Erla-Werke Leipzig. It has to be noted that within this block there were also a few G-5. Source : Messerschmitt Bf 109 F,G, & K series written by J.PRIEN and P.RODEIKE. Best wishes, Dirk |

Re: Bf109G-3 List
Hello,
Both data on the G-3 20225 and G-3 162405 are probably mistakes done in the printing of the books. I have contacted Mr. Caldwell about 20225. As soon as I get a reply, I will post the details here. Regards, Batur |

Re: Bf109G-3 List
Those are both G-6s.
162405 lost with Stab I./JG 53 in Feb-44. 20225 as you listed but a G-6. |
