22nd Bomb Group, 5th Air Force book now available

The long-awaiting book, "Revenge of the Red Raiders," the History of the 22nd Bombardment Group during WW II, has been published and is now available. Copies can be ordered directly from our website at: <www.irandpcorp.com>. I will autograph copies upon request. This is an encyclopedic 624-page fully-indexed history that includes much info on the Japanese side of the action, roughly a third of a million words of text, about 1000 photos, 16 extremely detailed maps of all bases, missions flown and aircraft loss locations, and a 32-page color section including photos, patches, combat paintings by Jack Fellows, and 48 color profiles by Steve Ferguson. This is the definitive treatment of a a very important US Army bombardment group that went into action with the B-26 Marauder over Rabaul in April of 1942 after being rushed to the Pacific following Pearl Harbor. In mid-1943, it partially converted to the B-25, them entirely converted to the B-24 Liberator during the spring of 1944, flying that aircraft for the remainder of the war, which ended for the 22nd on Okinawa. This is one of the most comprehensive treatments of a combat air unit ever attempted, and hopefully will be a landmark publication in aviation history. I hope that you enjoy this monumental effort.
