Is there any place to check Bücker Bü 131 W.Nrs.?

I´m trying to find and confirm the W.Nrs. from the 16 Bü-131 bought by Brazilian Government in 1938 and donated to some Air Clubs. They got new C/Ns here but they kept the original factory plaques like the 2 examples here. Is there any export listing from Bücker where I could confirm their original numbers? They arrived in 1939.

Hi Sergio - Great to have original Data-Plates giving their original W/Nrs and construction dates. From my extensive listings for the Bu131A W/Nrs I was missing No 150 and 173.
If it is any help I have nothing from 170 to 181. Perhaps from these 12 spaces some or all might have been exported.
Have you tried Tony Jones? If anybody he might be able to help you. Also there is Lennart Anderson?

Hello!
These plates seem to be from 89-litre fuel tanks and the the contruction numbers are not those of the aircraft, but of that specific part. Bücker delivered 5 plus 12 Bü 131s to Brazil and the second batch had c/ns 899-908, 910 and possibly 909. They were Bü 131Ds.

C/ns in the 100s were Bü 131As built in 1935/1936 for the RLM/Luftwaffe.

As per Amaru Tincopa and Santiago Rivas there are only 16 civil registrations in Brazil for these 17 aircraft.
How written in stone is 5+12? Their book thus indicate 5 + 11 as being delivered.

The authors also list WNr 839 as belonging to the first batch

All other machines where SOC from registers except PP-AEE formely from Aeroclube do Brasil. As you can see one of the plaques have a red color background. This machine is stored disassembled but its W.Nr. is unknown. Latest color scheme from PP-AEE was overall red so maybe one day we can discover whether it´s the "lost" PP-AEE or not...

More research is apparently needed on this subject. A second check shows that c/ns 901-904 are not confirmed for Brazil, but likely.

Delivery of 5 in the period 1936-38 and 12 in 1939 is from Bücker company records.

Those 5 machines are only for the Bu 131? We had one Bu 133 C W.Nr. 1018 registered as PP-TDP in 04 March 1938 and a Bu 180 B W.Nr. unknow registered as PP-TEV in 23 May 1939.

Yes, the total for Brazil was 5+12 Bü 131, 1 Bü 133 (1939) and 1 Bü 180 (1939). Notice that this is from annual sales statistics and need not reflect which year they arrived.
