Question The date of JV44's first victory?

Il2 shot down by Steinhoff. In his autobiography The Final Hours - The Luftwaffe Pilots Against Goring, this is in chapter 8 "Brandenburg
February 1945",but it's obvious that JV 44 had not been established by then...

Would anyone give more info?Thanks~

I've searched in several books.

In Messerschmitt Combat Diary Me.262 by John Foreman and S. E. Harvey, the date is Feb.24...

In JV 44: The Galland Circus ,page 130,Robert Forsyth doesn't give the actual date of that battle:"A few days before the end of March..."

Later,Robert Forsyth published his Jagdverband 44 - Squadron of Experten under banner of Osprey ,in page 36,it reads:"some time in the last days of
March."

......

So,I am really curious about the date.

A recent article in Aero Journal supports Robert Forsyth's statement. Guess the actual date was lost in the chaos of the end of the war
