I think these are Luftwaffe wings or cap piece . I'm not sure what they are tell you the truth since these were given to me years ago so I'm asking here thinking someone will know.

It might just be because I don't have Facebook but that link isn't working for me.

Re: Are these Luftwaffe wings?

Well nuts, thought this would be easy but I can't post from my computer as I have in the past. The face book page I didn't realize is a private group.
Please delete this post if you have to.
Thanks and sorry
Rick

Re: Are these Luftwaffe wings?

The upper left badge is a fantasy piece made from what looks like AAF Wings (possibly Observer) and something that represents the Kriegsmarine Minesweeper badge.

The lower right is a DLV badge with the paint removed. (Unable to tell if real or not from photo.)

I would say looking at the quality of manufacture of the second badge, fake. A look at the back would convince

Re: Are these Luftwaffe wings?

Thank you everyone. Looking at the back of the DLV badge and comparing with the photos on the link above it is not even close. As stated above fake.
The smaller one I thought it was fake as the eagle and the swastika the eagle is holding is not made very well.
I wanted to make sure on these even though I looked at photo's of pilots before I posted. I'm no expert and knew the correct answers I would find here.

Thank you for your time.
Rick
