1076 acc. to LEMB Stk Database. See Ketley and Rolfe book on emblems for more info (photo 146 in German edition).

Re: Do 17 P KB+TA

Thanks Maciej. However, checking my records I have 1076 as a Do 17 P but coded SF+AM and with Ld Kdo 4 at the end of Jan 41?

Re: Do 17 P KB+TA

Do 17 P-1 WNr. 1076 was destroyed on 29-Jan-41 while with LDKdo 4.
SF+AM is a Stkz. for a Ar 196.
Do 17 KB+TA was in Estonia from Mar-44 to May-44

Regards,
Norbert

Re: Do 17 P KB+TA

Thanks Norbert. So another error in Luftwaffe records & KB+TA could not have been 1076

Re: Do 17 P KB+TA

It strange that there was an Bu131 with KB+TA 100% clear from pictures

Re: Do 17 P KB+TA

Hello everyone,
Is that actually a "K" in photo #4? It sure looks like XB+TA to me.
Respectfully,
Steve Sheflin

Re: Do 17 P KB+TA

Due to the sharp angle of the slender fuselage the curvature makes the K look like an X

Re: Do 17 P KB+TA

I also have a Bu131 with KB+TA with LZA Berlin-Rangsdorf - 10-09-42 (Fb.Beate Kostlin)
Having studied the photo of the Do17 the 2nd letter looks more like an R - making the Stkz KR+TA
