Fw 200 F8+BB of KG 40

Hello,

I'm looking for informations about a crash of the Fw 200
F8+BB. Maybe the a/c had an accident during the start.
The fuselage and/or the wings broke.

Regards,
Sven.

Thanks Adam I have corrected the loss on 23-7-41 to 0069, with 0061 being lost off the coast of Portugal on 15-06-41 ( previously damaged on 21-05-41 ),

Brian

Hi, Brian and Adam

Please see link for the loss record of this aircraft:

http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=109433

The aircraft Werknummer was originally reported as being 67, but then corrected to 0069. I suspect that your 61 comes from a bad copy of the loss record, Brian.

I see that I haven't updated this loss record after I got a better copy myself, so I will do this with regards to the name of the co-pilot.

Regards,
Andreas

Hello Andreas,

do you have another loss for F8+BB?
I know a photos of the F8+BB lying on the airfield,
broken wings and the bombs around the plane,
so I guess that the a/c crashed when starting!
We have no complete loss in this case.

Regards,
Sven.
