Bf 109E Adjutant I/JG27 Photo ID Reuest

Does anyone know who the Adjutant of I/JG27 was 1940-Spring 1941 –i.e, the pilot or pilots of these Bf 109Es?

Rob

Holá Rob,

Larry is right as far as 1941 is concerned. In Lybia the Adjutant was Oberleutnant Ludwig Franzisket. I attach a few photos for proof. During BoB it was Lt Günther Bode, see photo. For the colour photo I will come back soon with the info which I have available.

Cheers

Hi All

The colour photo does not seem to have been taken in the Med. The black & white shot has previosuly been reported (if my memory is correct) as being taken during transit to North Africa.

I am pretty convinced it is two different aircraft and it could well be that they were flown by the two different pilots stated.

Cheers
Stig

Hi
The first colored picture is a Bf 109E-7 flown Leutnant Hans Remmer 1. JG 27 Tunisia, Africa 1941
The second picture is a Bf 109E-7 flown Oblt. Ludwig Franzisket I. / JG 27 Tunisia 04-1941 escort Stukas Ju 87 II./ StG 2.

Hi Rob,

well the I/JG27 had a few planes with chewron at this time. They were: <, <A, <T, <^ and of course << of Hpt.Eduard Neumann. To the staff belonged also Lt.Ludwig Franzisket, Lt.Friedrich-W.Borchert and Olt.Josef Unterberger (perhaps someone else?). I think that Franzisket used <A and there is a photo of his plane with 16 black victory bars taken in April 1941 (published in Jagdwaffe Colors Vol.3/3).

Regards

Robert

Brettas,

thanks for the info on Stab I/JG27 in 1941

Rob,

Remmer was in 1 Staffel, not the Adjutant of I Gruppe in 1941 -plus a color photo of his Bf 109E in Afrika has a totally dif camo scheme.
