Arrow Wellington losses over Belgium on 3/4 july 1943

Hello ,

Since years there is some " mis understanding " about the exact crashplace of the following Wellingtons in Belgium on 3/4 july 1943.It's all about the following aircraft , LN296 , HF569 , HF 595 , HZ481 and HE980. Is there someone who can solved the little " problem " ?

Regards

Alain,

I think you (also) refer to the issue of monuments for a same Wellington aircraft at different locations. See http://www.luchtvaarterfgoed.be/cont...louveign%C3%A9

Perhaps for the benefit of our readers you may point out the still existing controversies, since of some of the Wellingtons you have mentioned there appears to be no doubt of their crash sites.

Groet,

Leendert

Why and what is the misunderstanding? There are more sources than W.Chorley's RAF Bomber Command losses…

Best regards, Marcel
