He 111 of 6./KG 26 in Operation Pedestal 1942?
There were used several He 111 H-6 (torpedo plane) of 6./KG26 during operation Pedestal in mid August 1942. They sank 2 ships plus one damaged.
How many sorties they did then? How many planes did have 6./KG 26 in this period? mw

O'Hara, "In Passage Perilous" p-189 writes "at 2035 ....
... 30 Ju88 and seven He11 torpedo-bombers struck." Brisbane Star and Clan Fergusson suffered torpedo hits in this attack.
