Collision of 2 JU-87:Belgium May 10th,1940.
Hello everybody!
On Friday May 10,1940, 2 JU-87 had a collision above Belgium at KAPELLEN OP DEN BOS. Both planes belonged to the 9./St.G2. (9th Staffel, Stg=Sturzkampfgeschwader), Stuka. 1st Plane: Uffz-Fpilot: Ernst Bruckner,°June 8,1919, , +May 10,1940.Buurried first in Brussels, afterwards re-burried on April 12,1949 at Lommel (B), Tombnr.: Bl.45-Gr.139. Who was the second man in the plane? Probably taken prisoner ? POW? 2nd Plane:Flwl-pilot: Alfred NITSCHKE, ° Dec.25,1914, + May 10,1940. Burried in Brussels and re-burried on April 12,1949 at Lommel(B). Tombnr.: Bl.45-Gr.141. Second man in the plane was Uffz-pilot Udo GILON, ° Aug.7,1913, + May 10,1940 and re-burried on April 12, 1949 at Lommel.Tombnr.: Bl.45-Gr.140. Who can help us ? Thanks in advance! Fredcompa |
