search info ju88 lost April 1944 Ardennes Nord

hello,
I am looking for information about a Ju88 shot down by flak around April 05, 1944, which fell near the Marlemont radar station (08) or Aubigny les pothées according to the book by Mr and Mrs Pierre Roger.

hello, according to testimony, he was shot down by flak near the Marlemont radar. A child from Aubigny was injured and disfigured after this crash by picking up one of the shells left at the accident site.

Sanctions would have been taken on this occasion, the bodies of the airmen were stored in a nearby farm by the authorities.

Philippeville is 50kms further north, maybe this is the one

Hello,

I urged Pierre Roger many years ago to investigate this particular crashsite in order to find bits to ID the type. That would had been an easy first step, isn't it?

It is not the one of Philippeville as I found the crashsite.

Thank you for your reply.

I live in the Bordeaux region, I will have trouble getting around there before next summer.
I will look towards the "museum of the 3 wars" in Novion-Porcien and the museum of Vraux in case.

The Roger's were members of Vraux Museum where some of our findings are displayed.
