18-02-1943; Hampden AE 435 'U' (415 Sqn) crashed on Docking!

Dear,

my name is Everard Bakker and I am coming from the Netherlands. I am writing about a Dutch Royal Marines who served in (together with 15 other Dutch Royal Marines) WWII as a airgunner the Dutch 320 Squadron RAF.

On the 18th Febr 1943 the Hampden AE 435 of the 415 Sqn crashed on Docking, and burst into flames when he was take-off.

The crew were all killed;
Adams,
Niblock,
Campbell,
Vokey,
Mafrre,

Do you have more information about this crash? How is this Hampden crashed? What was the problem?

EVERY INFORMATION IS WARM WELCOME !!

With kind regards,

Everard Bakker
Eemnes
Holland.

Dear MS

thank you for your reply.
I miss in your reaction the name of Sgt Adams.
Was he the pilot, and the only survivor??

Do you now the reason of that crash?

With kind regards,

Everard
