I have an 2017 ebay pic of the forward part of a Blenheim Mk I 'MERCURY' with dust filters under the engines, and in the background there is an engineless PZL 24 coded Δ122.
Thanks I am sure I had seen Mercury before somewhere on a Blenheim..

L8397, 31 August 1940
L1538, 18 October 1940
and possibly L8530 on 12 October 1940.
All crashed at or near Fuka.
It would be great if someone can positively identify this Blenheim.

Hello 'udf 00',

I think you are right ! I have just found that photo you mention with the PZL 24, so it must be in Greece. I am not sure if this narrows or widens our search ! However, it certainly helps.

Regards,

Martin.

That's the well-photographed Battle P2332/PH-F of 12 Sqn, lost on 12 May 40. The crew were made POW: https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ls/r/C14142148

Re: eBay: Allied intrest

#1907 : Thanks ED for this ; we have the SH-W lost on 15 august 1940 beside Calais-Marck : K9964 of n°64 squadron with P/O R. Roberts shot down by Lt. G. Müller-Dühle (7./JG26).

Donadl Caldwell published two photos of this a/c in these masters books on JG26 and also in the vol.1 of Fighter command Losses.

But this is in my interest - Hurricane, does anyone have more information?
