Stalagt Luft 1 info and photo search

Hi all,
hard to solve on which particular discussion to post this... since it is related to allies and Germans too...

... hope anyone can help me while searching information about the POW camp Stalag Luft 1 in Barth, Pomerania, Germany.
For our museum dedicated to air battle over the Ore Mountains on September 11th, 1944 (see at www.museum119.cz or our facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Museum...4/195962885355) we are in process of building a new exhibition part, that will be related to POW stories of men shot down in "our" air battle. we have several great exhibits from particular veterans or their families, lot of documentation covering the whole process... capturing - transportation – interrogation at Wetzlar / Oberursel – POW camps – liberation – france / Lucky Strike camp... return home... etc.
But still we are looking for possible exhibits, additional information and photos, especially of the German POW camps for allied airmen.

Part of this exhibition will be also a 1/35 diorama of a particular part of Stalag Luft 1 in Barth. We have selected to build the compound “North 2”. Have a drawing of this compound, some photos, but still not enough.
So, I am requesting, asking and wondering there, if someone can help on this way. Of course, we have used information from the great website dedicated to Stalg Luft 1 at: http://www.merkki.com/

Anyway, for an accurate diorama research and build additional info would be necessary. Especially helpful could be any photos and drawings, charts related to North, compounds (1,2,3) of the Stalag Luft 1, with a focus to North 2.

Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated. More info about our project is available.
Thanks, Jan
