B-17 shot down 8 Feb 1942 Java

Hi guys

On 8 February 1942, a B-17 flown by Capt John 'Duke' DuFrane of the 19th BG was shot down by Tainan Ku A6Ms (Zeros). All crew were killed bar one, who was found alive on Kangean Island having baled out.

Questions: Who was the survivor? Possibly Pfc Harry Parry?

What was the serial number of the B-17? I can't seem to pin it down!

MACR 16154 apparently relates to the action. Has anyone a copy, please?

Cheers
Brian
