S/L David James Baikie Wilson, born 16 January, 1917 was killed in the crash of a Tudor on 23 August 1947. He was flying as co-pilot on a test flight.

He is now on his third tour and has completed many sorties demanding a high standard of skill and accuracy. He has proved himself to be an ideal leader and his example has been most inspiring.
