Hans Dortenmann's diary - book material?

From the excerpts I read in Green Hearts First in Combat with the Dora 9, I thought that Hans Dortenmann's diary might be an interesting book on its own, especially with careful annotation for historical context and correction (if needed). The excerpts seem to show good writing, attention to detail, and self-awareness. Any thoughts? If this is a viable idea, any suggestions for identifying and contacting the relevant people to develop this project further?

Just the proverbial thought...

Thanks,
Kenneth
