Re: 824 Sqdn FAA October 1943 aboard HMS Striker.

Hi Alex,
Striker was attached to Western Approaches Command in October 1943. There are many files at TNA Kew covering this command. The series ADM217 is dedicated to files from Western Approaches totalling just over 800 files, including War Diaries and convoy reports.

Hope this helps,
Bruce

Re: 824 Sqdn FAA October 1943 aboard HMS Striker.

Hello Bruce,
Thanks for the information .

I have found that Striker left port and later returned for repairs, so was not involved at the time in enemy action as far as I have found.

So back to the aircraft aboard.
Which ones were they from the list already given in post 1 above ?
Anyone ?

Thanks
Alex
