KG 100 losses at Salerno

Hello All,

Between the 9th and 20th September 1943 II and III/KG 100 lost a lot of Do 217 attacking shipping mainly off Salerno. To input into Mediterranean Air War Vol 4, I am seeking if we are missing any losses, or the dates are incorrect. Also its very hard to tell if they were lost in daylight or at night.

Re: KG 100 losses at Salerno

I just received my copy of A History of the Mediterranean Air War, 1940-1945 Volume 4: Sicily and Italy to the fall of Rome 14 May, 1943 - 5 June, 1944. Unfortunately no solution to the mystery of Jack Hussey's two claims for Do217

Otherwise another cracking piece of work
