Sought: II. and III./JG54 Flugbuch/Leistungsbuch entries for Nachtjagd operations Eastern Front mid-1942

Dear all,

For the research of the Nachtjagd on the Eastern Front (which will be published as a separate volume in the Nachtjagd Combat Archive series), I am looking for Flugbuch/Leistungsbuch entries of Oblt. Günther Fink and Lt. Hans-Joachim Heyer (both 8./JG54), Hptm. Reinhard Seiler, Kommandeur of III./JG54, and Hptm. Joachim Wandel (5./JG54) covering the operations over the Demjansk and Leningrad fronts in mid-1942.

I don't know if any of these FB/LB survived the war, but any tips/info on these are welcome!

I would also welcome portrait photos of these four pilots, plus one of Lt. Leykauf, for publication in the NCA series.

Cheers and thanks, Theo

Sent one from Erwin Leykauf. Maybe not good enough for publishing but...

Don’t forget Wolfgang Späte and his return to JG 54 in 1942 for make up claims to his score for ones not approved according to his book.

Hello and good evening Nokose, thanks for your posting. I have no documented evidence that Wolfgang Späte achieved any Abschüsse in the Nachtjagd with JG54 on the Eastern Front ..

Best regards, Theo
