Hello Horst,
i have this informaton of a good friend from New Jersey, he is a speciallist of crashes in WWII. I know C.A.Pender flew mission over germany, in one case he was a Eyewithness of a crash in Hinterweidenthal, his comerades James Hamrick was shoot down an KIA. See MACR:12842 regards Klaus |

It seriously seems, that Charles A. Pender has no MACR. This is leading stronly into the direction of an incident in friendly territory. Does anyone has AFHRA microfilms Nos. B0320 or B0321, where the Op-Reps of 358th FG are filed. Unfortunatelly, the microfilm about 358th FG in my possession, # B0319, ends in October 1944. Maybe here, a little light could be brought in.
