412th FS of 373rd FG - Lt. John R. Buchanan

Hello All,

I am currently trying to fill in a chronological gap in the service of my great uncle, Lt. John R. Buchanan. I cannot find much information on him between being assigned to 412th in winter of '43 and his transfer to 367th FS of 358th FG.

Does anyone have a resource they can check for me?

His military records were lost in the 1973 NARA fire and his letters stop between training and the 367th.
