Thanks for this The 'escadrille 4" - SAL 4 is on Salmson 2 A2 from feb. 1918. The bands were yellow and black, star in red. Bertrand |

#6 Georges Clémenceau is certainly on the airfield of Viefvillers (Oise) in May 1918 At this time the "escadrille" 32 and 59 are on the same A/F :
Amongst the three photos we have a Dorand AR of AR 32 (seagull) One of the photo is in the book "Les escadrilles de l'aeronautique militaire francaise - symbolique et histoire - 1912-1920." It is a Salmson 2 A2 of SAL 59 Bertrand |

Thanks Clemenceau was easier to identify than the planes, particularly the Dorand which wasn't a clear photo. I shall take a look at the Escadrille 59 page on Albindenis in due course, now I know what to look for. Regards, Clint |
