If I may be excused the shameless 'plug' this incident is covered in detail in my now imminent "Stuka Attack!" including the loss of HMT Tourmaline in this incident.

Here is an image of the crash, plus the dust-jacket of said book:

Just raced over to the Grub Street site, and there is no mention of the book at all.

Book Depository now has 10 copies listed for sale on Abebooks.
Ordered my copy and will report when it arrives.
