french air force losses in indochina 1945-1954
Hello,
I'm looking for informations about the number of aircraft lost during the Indochina war by the french air force PS: I 've these informations for the french naval aviation (Aéronautique navale) Thank you Alain |

I have the losses for the F8F "Bearcat" and a few from the A-26 "Invader". h. |

F8F-1B "Bearcat" losses: GC 1/9 9 planes (combat and accicdent) GC 3/6 9 GC 1/8 & 1/22 27 GC 2/8 & 2/22 12 GC 1/21 6 GC 2/9 & 2/21 7 EROM 13 Pilots: 23 KIA, 11 WIA, 2 PoW (one died in Camp) The first 44 F8F came to Saigon with USS Windham Bay (CVE-92) 6.2.1951 The second charge with 46 F8F came with USS Sithoh Bay (CVE-86) 25.3.51 F8F where in action between February 1951 and July 1954. As my knocklege 291 F8F-1 served with the french Airforce in Indochina. One 11. August 1954 142 "Bearcat" where still in action. h. |

Thank you very much, i have the losses for the Hellcat of the Armée de l'Air and i'm working on the B 26 Invader.
