Hello,

my uncle Hans(-Joachim)"Jochen" Hinrichs

is missed in action since 19.07.1941 as a pilot of the long distance reconnaissance Staffel 3 (F) 33 "Karo Ass".

He and his complete unit flew with new JU 88 planes on
19.07.1941
from Schippenbeil (East-Prussia)-Ganel-Gluchow-Brjansk-Borrisow (East of Minsk).

According to www.reibert.info he was the pilot on
JU 88 A-5,
8H-EL,
production number 0739

The flight from Schippenbeil to Borrisow is quite long, about 600 km.
One of the other planes of the unit could have noticed, where about his plane got lost.

Does anyone of you have further information ?
