Re: Luftwaffenflugzeugführerscheines

Hello,

Some while ago, a website has been launched where you can upload scans of Flugbücher.
https://luftwaffe-flugbuecher.org/?page_id=12

On the home page it says:
As soon as we have a reasonable number of flight logs, we will digitize the data and start sharing it for free to the public through this website.

At the moment however, no flight log books are available on the website yet.

@TigerTimon
I have been to this site before, but I don't know if they are still collection or have stopped altogether. The site went through quite a harsh scrutiny at another forum some months back and they haven't posted anything anywhere since

Just a detail: "Luftwaffenflugzeugführerscheines"

...scheines is a small mistake. The two last letters (es) at the end of this typically German word are wrong in this case so they should be deleted. They are right in some grammatical instances, for example if someone says or writes "Die Erlangung des Luft…...scheines", "Obtaining the LW pilot's license" (it's Genitiv, the 2nd of 4 forms in the Deklination of the word). When merely mentioning this word, or for example as a title, there is no "es" at the end. This ending is not needed when writing in a language other than German.

If your reply is not ironic: Oh yes, we can edit our posts only for a short while (I think until we post a new one). This is why I am unable to correct some typing errors in my posts.
