Value of Merlin?

I know this is a dumb question, but does anyone have a vague idea what a Rolls-Royce Merlin in 'good relic' condition might be worth? It is complete except for the exhaust headers.

I bought one in 1973 for $50 US Dollars. Sold it two years later for $3500. The new owner let it sit in his hangar for 40 years and when he passed away, it was auctioned for $48,000. That I know of, it is still sitting in storage.

Mine was a Packard V1650-9 out of an H model 51.

Tony, I wish I were born in the 50's in the USA and had 50 bucks available (as I do have today!)....but the "time back machine" was not yet built by someone...so I can only dream and hear the music of this engine on youtube...Nevertheless it is always an investment, like all other Militaria stuff.
