Air Cover for No. 3 Group Lancaster 19., 21. & 23. Dez. 1944
Hello,
did any RAF Fighter Squadron flew Air Cover for the bombers on their way to the Target City of Trier? (Day Raids) Thanks for support! h. |

On 19th and 21st the escort was provided by XIX TAC of 9th AF
On 23rd escort was by 11 Group - Ramrod 1414 6 squadrons of Mustangs (71 a/c)and 10 squadrons of Spitfires (124 a/c) |

The Trier raid was unopposed by your Luftwaffe. One Lanc lost to flak
